Description
As someone who tends to be skeptical of technology (I resisted owning a smart phone for many years), I am interested in tracking how technology influences our sense of ourselves and the world. As an educator with the Young Adult Abuse Prevention Program (YAAPP), I frequently facilitate conversations with young people about the ways that technology can be used to build connection and share intimacy with a partner. As someone in a relationship, I have noticed changes in how frequently my partner and I text, Snap, DM and call each other as our relationship (and the context in which we're relating) has developed. What do YOU notice?
